2017 has been busy and business remains positive in all areas that we are active in at the moment. On the development side we are curently active in Italy, Kuwait, The UAE and on the Bahamas. Furthermore we are looking for existing luxury properties in key cities on behalf of one of our clients. 

Following a successful partnership with Global Asset Solution in Barcelona, where we jointly looked after a portfolio of 6 large European hotels in the 9 months through September 2015, we continue to drive new asset management opportunities world-wide with a current focus on the Fairmont Montreux Palace.

Simultaneously we are continuing to work on education projects via Snapshot ( in order to create a better understanding of our area of expertise and its integration into day to day demand management in hotels. The courses are taking place in major European universities and are now available online.   

Recently we have started a partnership with Resources for Leisure Assets ( with a distinct focus on maximising the returns and valuation of wellbeing specific operations world-wide. 

The investment climate across the world remains favourable, and even cautious investors are looking for chances to develop their hotel business in this market. Today, more than ever, the demand is high for operational advice on the selection of hotel management companies, asset development and practical ways to improve net cash flows and return on investments. We are happy to support investors by assisting with developments and asset managing properties as soon as operations go live.

Throughout our 35 years of experience in operations and corporate finance in the hospitality industry we have discovered a specific need for independent and competent help with asset management, development projects and challenges in hotels and their corporate offices. To support this need Alex Slors Consulting was launched in October 2006 and to date we have successfully contributed to a variety of projects.
